Report: Companies Hiring AI Talent Too Quickly
Three-quarters (75%) of tech hiring leaders at companies using AI say they are hiring AI talent too quickly, without taking the time to build sustainable pipelines of qualified and high-potential candidates, per General Assembly’s State of Tech Talent 2025. “Too many companies are approaching AI with the same old playbook: layoffs and rapid hiring sprees with no sustainable talent strategy,” said Daniele Grassi, CEO of General Assembly. “Firms are competing for an ever-shrinking pool of skilled candidates when they should be investing in developing their own qualified talent. Upskilling and reskilling will be absolutely essential to a future where every role, at every level, requires AI skills.”
Carv Acquires Recrubo to Serve the Future Recruiter
Carv, a leader in AI recruitment technology, announced the acquisition of Recrubo, an innovative conversational AI platform for recruitment. The acquisition and the subsequent launch of Carv’s comprehensive AI recruitment platform marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of AI in talent acquisition. In its new configuration, Carv enables recruiters to delegate all tasks to AI that distract them from building human connections. Over the course of 2024 Carv grew over 10x with its ‘zero admin’ platform, onboarding thousands of recruiters and offloading them from administrative tasks. Emerging as one of the dominant players in the applied AI for recruitment space, the company now has its sights set on becoming the world’s top AI platform for recruiters. With the acquisition of Recrubo, the team takes a big leap towards realizing that goal.

NinjaOne Launches Features to Boost Productivity
Gartner Digital Workplace Summit – NinjaOne, the automated endpoint management platform, announced expanded capabilities to help IT teams improve users’ experiences with their devices. The new use cases include self-service workflows, end-user dashboards, and user-centric automations to make organizations and their employees more efficient and productive. IT leaders are increasingly focusing not only on improving how they manage, secure, and control devices but also on how to utilize endpoint usage and performance data to improve the digital employee experience (DEX). Employees rely on devices to get their work done efficiently and, in turn, drive organizational success; these devices must be secure, easy to use, and reliable. According to Gartner, “By 2026, 50% of digital workplace leaders will have established a DEX strategy and tool, up from 30% in 2024.”
