At the time of this announcement, Patrick “PJ” Jean, Chief Technology & Product Officer at ABBYY said – “The remarkable talent in the Indian market represents a major opportunity for ABBYY to drive the future of purpose-built AI.”

PJ added, “We’re excited to meet with the brightest and most forward-thinking tech professionals who are interested in joining a leader in intelligent automation. We’ll be ready to hire on the spot for some positions.”

Earlier this year, ABBYY announced expanding its footprint in India with two new key facilities:

1) a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) center in Bengaluru; and 2) a specialized Center of Excellence in New Delhi.

These two new offices are crucial in strengthening ABBYY’s ability to provide localized, cutting-edge solutions, driving greater success for its partners and customers across diverse markets. Spearheading this expansion is Yathiraj Shetty Kasargod, who has been appointed as the Director of Product Operations for ABBYY India, bringing a wealth of expertise to further accelerate the company’s growth in the region.

ABBYY has aggressive growth plans that include investing further in AI innovation to accelerate the delivery of intelligent document processing (IDP) and process intelligence solutions and ensure products continue to lead the market in intelligent automation. The expansion of the development team in Bengaluru is an integral component of success.

Pre-approved attendees can apply for positions across engineering, development, and product operations functions, with top candidates for select roles potentially receiving an offer by the event’s conclusion.

Examples of open roles include:

  • Engineering roles from entry-level to architect, including individual and manager positions
  • Development roles across full-stack, mobile, and desktop
  • Customer experience roles in customer support engineering, management, and service delivery
  • Technical program management roles

Last month, ABBYY announced new AI capabilities to bolster the existing GenAI and LLM development infrastructure. At Ascend 2024, ABBYY’s Secure Large Language Model (LLM) Gateway stole the limelight, showcasing unique use cases for organizations to harness the full potential of new-age AI models and confidently leverage these models without compromising security.
