Platform ditches static PDFs and offers chart-based skills so employers have clarity to make skill-first and personality-aware hiring decisions.
Bettabite, a pioneering graphical-based hiring platform, announced its official launch as it brings a fresh perspective to the typical hiring process. It aims to create a new standard format for career representation, moving past PDFs with a more visual approach that streamlines hiring for both employees and employers.
The platform offers a new way for job seekers to present their skillsets and behavioral traits within a graphical format. Bettabite offers a visual and interactive skill and personality chart resume builder. It allows people to track their growth over time by dynamically assessing their skills and adding information that builds their profile.
Bettabite’s new approach to hiring comes from Olivia Crawford, a former senior-level UX designer at firms including Rexel, Blue Yonder and ASI digital. Crawford has experience designing enterprise software for B2B and ecommerce applications. She saw a market opportunity within the shortcomings of established job search platforms, where talented people are often overlooked and hiring managers make decisions based on guesswork. She applied her experience with fintech and investing platforms and combined it with insights from more than 500 job seekers she interviewed along with dozens of discussions with recruiters and employers.

“Widespread frustration with hiring platforms turned into a market opportunity, as hiring is the most important decision facing companies,” said Crawford. “Why do we still have a system of outdated resumes and vague job descriptions? Hiring is not a transaction; it’s a bet on people, so I created a new platform to showcase people’s skills and traits that get attention and help employers make data-driven decisions.”
Key Bettabite features include:
- Transparent Application Process: job seekers can see their application status in real-time to maximize their productivity and remove a common pain point.
- Feedback Feature: that provides applicants a chance to learn and improve after receiving a rejection. Employers can select a rejection reason, such as “skill mismatch” or “availability issues,” and can also offer additional context.
- Insights Dashboards to spot hiring patterns, fill gaps with talent possessing missing skills or behavioral traits and promote internal mobility.
- Skill Ranking Scale: A 1 to 100 percentage scale for employees to rank their skills on, which generates charts for simple visualization for employers and recruiters.
- Personality Assessment: Twenty personality questions for employees to self-rank, so employers can determine if a candidate’s personality matches the culture and existing team structure.
- Subscription Plans for Employers: Bettabite offers two monthly plans: the Starter Plan, $99/month for two job posts (with a 7-day trial), and the Pro Plan, $399/month for unlimited job posts. Bettabite is free for all job seekers.

“Companies have made hiring decisions based on static PDFs and guesswork for decades,” said Crawford. “Bettabite reimagines the hiring process as what it truly is — an investment in people. We’ve turned resumes and job descriptions into skill and personality charts, giving both sides the clarity to match faster, smarter and more fairly. With our visual approach, which includes skills and personality charts, we give job seekers a dynamic showcase for their talents.”
