Recruitics Launches ApplyAnywhere to Cut Hiring Costs

Recruitics, the industry-leading AI-powered recruitment marketing platform, announced the official launch of ApplyAnywhere, a new solution built to turn every online channel into a candidate conversion engine and drive higher-quality hiring results. ApplyAnywhere addresses two of today’s biggest recruitment challenges at once: the growing drop-off in application completions and the rising flood of unqualified applicants. By 2028, one in four job candidates globally will be fake, according to research and advisory firm Gartner, and employers must work now to future-proof their hiring processes. By removing unnecessary friction and introducing purposeful “positive friction” through integrated screener questions, ApplyAnywhere ensures more of the right candidates complete the application process and get delivered directly into a client’s ATS, CRM, or engagement solution for next steps.

U.S. Small Business Job Growth Steady in April

According to the Paychex Small Business Employment Watch, job growth in U.S. small businesses with fewer than 50 employees ticked up slightly in April, gaining 0.27 percentage points to an index level of 100.02. The Small Business Jobs Index, a primary component of the Employment Watch report, has averaged 99.99 over the past 12 months, indicating little change in small business labor market over the last year. Hourly earnings growth for U.S. small business workers, meanwhile, slowed to its lowest level since May 2021 at 2.82%. “Our April jobs data signals a small business labor market that remains stable as business owners navigate the evolving macroenvironment,” said John Gibson, Paychex president and CEO. “We are seeing no signs of a recession in our data as many small business owners are keeping their workforce levels consistent. Many leaders appear to be taking a wait-and-see approach to hiring until the macroenvironment settles and they have a better understanding of how any changes will impact their short and long-term growth.”

Study: Likability Often Beats Qualifications in Hiring

New research released from Textio has found that hiring decisions are influenced more by candidate likability rather than by relevant skills. In a first-of-its-kind study analyzing written interview assessments and candidate experiences across more than 10,000 interviews, Textio found that candidates who receive offers are 12x more likely to be described as having a “great personality” than those who don’t.
