Workday Features Gwen Stefani, Paul Stanley, Billy Idol in AI Ad
Workday, the AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, is bringing AI agents center stage in its latest “Rock Star” campaign featuring Gwen Stefani, Paul Stanley, and Billy Idol. The rockers, dressed in business attire, hilariously try to navigate the corporate world – refusing to believe that Workday’s AI agents are making people “rock stars.” The two new TV commercials, titled “Carmen the Rock Star,” and “Goodnight Rock Stars,” are debuting at The Masters from April 7-13. The commercials playfully contrast the worlds of rock ‘n’ roll and business with Stefani, Idol, and Stanley trading their leather studs for power suits and attending countless meetings, engaging in small talk with colleagues in the office, and grappling with corporate jargon. Superstar Gwen Stefani quips, “You think AI agents can handle your tasks? When your weekend routine involves smashing guitars on stage, a boring office job just doesn’t compare…”

Unlike burnout or quiet quitting, Quiet Cracking doesn’t manifest in obvious ways — making it even more dangerous for business leaders to ignore. The report highlights the steep costs of ignoring early signs of disengagement, which could lead to reduced performance and increased turnover risk.
