Sarah Wandschneider was successfully hired, bringing over 20 years of experience and an extensive background in leading the Human Resources function and developing teams in corporate and healthcare organizations. Sarah will report to Carlene and will be responsible for aligning talent management strategies with business objectives.

According to Sarah, there is not a “one size fits all” in managing talent. “Human resources used to be operational. Today, there is a greater emphasis on meeting employee expectations around the overall employee experience, which demands customization and flexibility. Employees should feel valued for their individual skill sets and empowered to make good decisions. Leaders must understand what is important to their respective team members to build trust which is the catalyst for engagement, productivity, and retention.”

Sarah is looking forward to her new role. “I am excited to build upon the exceptional work of this leadership team. I share their passion and genuine desire to cultivate the talent that is so evident within the organization. There is tremendous satisfaction to be gained in balancing an overall business strategy while continuing to focus on the people whose talent drives our success.
