The new Actual Return to Work (ARTW) process streamlines the way employees on leave confirm their actual return-to-work date, making it more efficient and convenient for supervisors, HR partners and the employees themselves.

Key Features of the New ARTW Process Include:

• Two-Way Text Messaging: Employees will receive two opportunities to confirm their return-to-work date or provide a new return-to-work date along with a reason for the change.
• Automated Email Notifications: Employers will receive automated emails when there is no response from the employee after the second text attempt, and as a courtesy to inform them of the employee’s response.

In fact, 96% of employees supported in the new program have elected to receive text message updates and communications. Leveraging this real-time connectivity and employee preference removes back-and-forth voicemails, misdirected emails and frustrating delays often seen in traditional absence claim communications.
