Leger assumes leadership of Cornerstone’s global marketing team in order to quicken the development of demand- and customer-driven brand- and go-to-market strategies for long-term expansion.
Bernd Leger has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer by Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc., a pioneer in learning and talent experience solutions (CMO). Leger will be crucial in building Cornerstone’s brand, accelerating demand and customer growth, and positioning the business’s accelerated innovation and market leadership.
Leger will take charge of all facets of Cornerstone’s international marketing function, including global field and digital marketing, product marketing, brand and customer advocacy, with a focus on delivering strategies that increase customer value and brand success. Leger has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the international technology sector and a demonstrated track record of creating and implementing go-to-market strategies that have produced double- and triple-digit revenue growth for a number of prosperous SaaS organisations.

Leger most recently held the position of chief marketing officer (CMO) at Mimecast, a leading provider of email and collaboration security, where he was instrumental in assisting with the company’s IPO and acting as the executive sponsor for the group’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Prior to joining Mimecast, Bernd held several marketing leadership positions at successful software and cybersecurity firms, including Checkmarx, CloudLock (acquired by Cisco), Localytics, Rapid7, and Veracode. He also served as CMO at Nexthink, where he played a key role in the company’s marketing and growth strategy.
