Havas Creative announces hiring of 2 notable senior professionals

Havas Creative has added two significant senior leadership positions to strengthen its knowledge of global growth and innovation and to enhance network-wide integration and client experiences.

Havas Creative’s new global marketing and brands officer is Maggie O. Connors. Havas Creative has named Callum Cheatle its new Global Managing Partner for Growth. Both of them will work with Tracey Barber, Havas Creative’s global chief transformation and growth officer, to support the company’s global brand portfolio across 70 communities and 100 nations. While Cheatle will be headquartered in London, Connors will be located in New York.

A skilled growth leader with over 25 years of experience, Connors has built integration across international teams and built, led, and activated pitch teams at scale. She joins Havas Creative from MRM, where she served as the global chief growth officer and was responsible for all new business development, worldwide office collaboration, and the creation of marketing and growth content offerings. Throughout her career, Connors has held significant business development positions at important agencies, including Deutsch, J. Walter Thompson, and Arnold Worldwide of the Havas Group. In her new position, Connors will oversee new business and growth initiatives across North America and increase growth, strategy, PR, and innovation skills globally. She will also lead the new business team at Havas New York. In addition to managing development prospects across Gate One, Havas’ digital and business transformation consulting, and Havas CX, the brand’s customer experience network, she will lead integration efforts across offices in North America.

Cheatle comes to Havas Creative from The&Partnership, where he served as the Business Development Director and was responsible for managing international pitches, assisting regional offices with their growth initiatives, and creating integrated positioning and prospecting strategies. Prior to this, he worked as a WPP fellow at Grey London, Ogilvy Shanghai, and Group XP New York, rotating among account management, digital strategy, and business development. With a focus on enhancing collaboration, partnership, and client experience across offices and supporting Havas’ global flagship agencies in New York, London, Paris, Mumbai, Shanghai, Sao Paulo, and Singapore, Cheatle will lead and develop global new business and marketing strategy across the UK and global network.

Havas Group has been significantly investing in growth and integration over the past few months. Jocelyn Weiss has been appointed as the global chief communications officer of Havas Health & You as part of global leadership’s expansion of positions. With Arnold Worldwide, a unit of Havas Group, just announced their relationship with Sam’s Club and PNC Bank, its integrated network is also celebrating new commercial successes.

“Maggie and Callum are some of the brightest minds in our industry,” said Barber. “They bring to their new positions a wealth of experience from around the world and, most importantly, a spirit of cooperation and optimistic thinking. They will certainly elevate our international new business and growth teams.”
