Gregory (Greg) George has been appointed as Alight‘s chief commercial officer for its North American Employer Solutions business, according to the company, which is a leading cloud-based human capital and technology services provider. Greg will be in charge of overseeing all areas of Alight’s commercial organization, including sales, strategic accounts, channels, and partnerships, as well as advancing the company’s North American growth strategy. He will answer to Stephan Scholl, the CEO.

Greg comes to Alight with more than 25 years of experience in the human capital management (HCM) and enterprise software sectors. At Ceridian, he was senior vice president and head of sales for the Americas and was responsible for the expansion of the HCM platform. Greg was in charge of Ceridian’s go-to-market strategy in this position, and he collaborated with the executive group to implement the company’s transformation strategy. Greg worked at Oracle for 14 years prior to joining Ceridian. Most recently, he held the position of group vice president, where he was in charge of the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise performance management (EPM), and supply chain management (SCM) business units’ national sales operations. Greg also held a number of positions at Hyperion and ADP.
