Kevin Henry has been appointed as executive vice president and chief people officer of PulteGroup, reporting to the CEO. The date of his hiring is June 20, 2023. Henry has worked in talent management and team development for big organizations for more than 30 years. Kevin most recently held the position of Chief People Officer at BlueLinx Corporation, a major wholesaler of home and business building products with $4.5 billion in annual sales. Henry’s last position was Chief People Officer of the more than 700-location hotel chain Extended Stay America.

Henry had increasingly prominent human resource positions with organizations like Snyder-Lance, Inc., Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, and Nationwide Credit in addition to his leadership responsibilities at BlueLinx and Extended Stay America. Henry holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial labor relations from Cornell University and is a member of the advisory board for the African American Leadership Academy of Charlotte as well as the board of directors of Saia Inc., a publicly traded logistics and distribution firm. He was honored with the Whitney M. Young Jr. Leadership Award from the Urban League of Central Carolinas, and Savoy Magazine named him one of the “2022 Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America.”
